Cancellation Charges Details

If the unforeseen arises or you change your mind and you need to Cancel a Hire, we try to be as fair as possible comensurate with running a business. The Cancellation Notification needs to be given either by the Hirer or the Driver, and needs to be sent by E-mail, by Telephone, or in person. In any event a Cancellation Reference will be given.
The Scale of Charges listed below are, we believe, a fair balance between you the customer and us.

• If you need to cancel a hire, then Cancellation Charges may be applied at the discretion of the Getaway Cars as follows :-
• A calendar day here is defined as a working day ie Monday to Friday; weekend Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are excluded.
• If cancelled over 7 complete calendar days then no charges will apply.
• If cancelled between 7 complete calendar days and 72 hours of commencement of the hire, then a charge of 25% of the quoted Hire Cost above will apply.
• If cancelled between 72 hours of commencement of the hire and 24 hours of commencement of the hire, then a charge of 50% of the quoted Hire Cost above will apply.
• If cancelled within 24 hours of commencement of the hire then the full quoted Hire Cost will apply.
